Discuss Prompt Brainstorming
Discuss structure of Cisneros's work and the introduction written by Cisneros in 2008. Let me know if you need a copy of the introduction. If you have the teal book with the rust colored building on it, you already have the introduction in your book! If not, come and pick up a copy from me. 

Homework: 
Read the vignettes "The House on Mango Street" through "Marin" (meaning stopping at the end of "Marin"). Use THESE GUIDING QUESTIONS (also under quick links) to help you prepare for a reading check quiz over the material.
