Agenda:
Hi Class!
I am so sorry that I cannot be with you today! However, I am sure that you will have a productive class and that you will be respectful to my current replacement!

Please following the directions in THIS EXERCISE
---START reading where we left off (page 40 in the red book), just after the 8th Juror says, “Maybe. Maybe he did stab his father, didn’t hear the woman’s screams, did run out in a panic, did calm down three hours later and came back to try and get the knife, risking being caught by the police. Maybe all of those things are so. But maybe they’re not. I think there’s enough doubt to make us wonder whether he was there at all during the time the murder took place.”
---STOP reading (on page 58 of the red book) when you get to the 10th Juror’s line: “You can talk till your tongue is draggin’ the floor. The boy is guilty. Period. Know what I mean, my friend? Who’s got those cough drops?”
---AS YOU READ answer the questions to the best of your ability.
---When you finish, turn in this work sheet to turnitin.com; choose the assignment titled “Absence Exercise for Twelve Angry Men”. If you finish by the end of class, go ahead and turn in your work. If not, finish it up for homework! If turnitin.com is not working, email Ms. Tuttle!

Homework:
Again, if you don't finish the exercise, please finish it for homework. It will be graded!

NOTE: Check the calendar for all other changes! Please be aware that your grammar quiz has been postponed.
